Slide out leak solutions

We are on a 6 month long trip currently in South Texas. It has rained almost every week with lots of wind. Our entertainment center slide on the 3485 SA has leaked onto the carpet several times. A close look at the gaskets tell me that one of them is wet on the inside. A close look informs that the outside gasket is closer to the slide at the bottom than at the top. I thought that an adjustment to the slide would stop but am not certain. Questions? Have any of you used other solutions especially when parked in one place for a couple of months?
Thanks,
LCarter

Make sure the verticle seals on the outside are pointing outward and not folded inward towards the side of the fiver. Make sure the top seal is pointing outward also. Make sure the verticle seal is underneath the top seal. If you have those little plastic rain chutes at the bottom of the verticle seals, make sure they aren't restricted some how or the seal is poked in them. If some are not just use your awning rod or similar to pull them towards you.

Thanks,
We have slide toppers on our slide outs. I observed during a very windy day that the topper acts as a sail that tries to lift the slide. Since the slide is secured at the bottom and only sealed on the sides and top, the topper actually pulls the top of the slide inward which lessens the grip of the gaskets on the sides and allows the wind to blow rain inside the gasket. One side seals better than the other. Yes, it is really windy in South Texas (especially close to the beach) sometimes but really nice most of the time.

Thanks for the tips.
