Charleston WV to Goshen IN
We'll be heading up to Goshen for the rally, heading up I-77 to Charleston WV. From there, am I better off going up US-35 to Dayton then No0rth on I-75, or to continue up I-77 to I-70/270 west to Columbus Then up US-33? Pros and cons of each route??
Thanks.

Reminder, if it matters to you,
I 80 in Ohio and northern Indiana is a toll road.

Jan, I live in Charleston and made this trek last month. I recommend 77 to 64W, take exit #40 (Rt 35). RT 35 in WV now is about 12 miles of four lane, back to two lane for 20 miles to Ohio. Ohio RT 35 is all four lane now to Dayton. RT 35 in both states are in great shape plus you miss the Columbus traffic.
take care,
Joe

In my opinion I would consider taking I 64 West and then take the Industrial parkway N after you get into KY. It’s a good 2-lane road for 14 miles and then you will go North on U.S. 23. Follow 23 N until you get to 35. You have a few small towns to go through but I think that would save you a few miles. You can Google it and adjust the route to see which way is best for you. I think that would be a good route.
