Coleman vs Weber grills

Looking to purchase a new grill to tote along in the 5ver. I am currently debating between the Coleman Roadtrip and the Weber Q models. Before I purchase, I would like to hear any pro's and con's about either brand. Tell your experiences and opinions.

I have the Colman Road Trip, cooks well, optional grill is nice, but it's awful to clean.

A camping friend just replaced his Road Trip for that very reason. They now use a Weber Q and are very satisified, says it cooks great and is much easier to clean. A Weber Q is in our future.

We use the Weber Baby Q for the two of us. Works great for us and also have the folding stand. I do not put a grill on a wood table as others do!!! Fairly easy to clean. I use the blue propane bottles while on the road, when stationary for awhile will use a 30lber....

We have a Road Trip.
Pros - Cooks great, 2 burners, folds up nicely, variety of cooking surfaces to select from.
Cons - Heavy, hard to clean, inside pan gets wet with every sprinkle, no wind protection.

We like it a lot but...
We spend 3 winter months in the Florida Keys and the Road Trip rusts a lot. We will look for something more resistant to rust next time. We also had the "sparker" melt in 110 degree day with wind blowing the wrong way. Coleman does not offer a replacement.

We have had the Q for two years and bought two others as gifts. We bought the stand and the fold up side shelves and both covers. Its easy to put away and clean and cooks evenly and relatively fast.We would definately recommend.

We have the Weber Baby Q, have it hooked to a 20# propane bottle. It works great and wind doesn't bother it. It does cook very hot however even on the lowest setting. Great for steaks!! We then bought a cheap plastic storage bin at Walmart that it stores in, so if there is any grease that drips out the container catches it. This makes it nice to store in the basement of the Monty without fear of getting any grease on the floor. I pressure wash it at home when I clean up. The little grease pans are easy to dump and for the most part are reusable for us frugal travelers. I would recommend it highly.

We have a Weber Q hooked to a 10 lb bottle. Works better than my Jenn Air grill at home. If it was stolen I'll buy another one.

We got tired of buying cheap grills we replaced almost yearly, and broke down and bought a Weber Q and are very happy with it.

Baby Q works well for us. I have a tee in line just after the 30 lb on board bottle. With a 12 foot hose attachment it eliminates the need to carry additional propane.

We just bought the Q also and used it quite a bit on our last trip. We are really happy with it.

I have both the Baby Q and a Roadtrip. I set up the Roadtrip with 10 lb propane bottle and use the griddles for breakfast every morning. Use the grills for most foods. But NOTHING can take the place of the Baby Q for cooking a steak.

We had the Baby-Q and I found the grill surface hard to keep clean, the grooves held debris. The Roadtrip is a real nice grill we have several friends who use them and swear to the good job they make, but as fulltimers, they are just to big for our small rig.

We use the Weber Go-Anywhere Gas Grill. We like it because it is light-weight, compact and does and excellent job of keeping a consistent heat. The grill and the heat shield are super easy to clean before storing. The price is right too.
