Slide coming out

Strangest thing happening, on two occasions after checking the rig during the winter, we have gone out and the bedroom slide has been
out about 6 inches. We have put the slide in and all the way out
again with no problems. Can't see anything binding or causing it to go out on its own. It's all the way in now, we will head out again
tomorrow to see if it is out at then. Not sure if it's a slow slide
out or not. Any ideas?

Check the valves that control what slides come out and make sure they are turned open past their stops.

You don't say what year your rig is or model it is. This would help some. We had the same thing happen to us when we had our previous unit. We would check on it every so often and occasionally would fine the bedroom and possibly one of the other slides partway open. I discussed this with the dealer and also with Lippert and they both said it very likely was the expansion of the hydraulic fluid when the temps warmed up some. It puts pressure on the hydraulic rams pushing the slide out some. There have also been some that had bypass leakage on their rams that caused it. Go to the Search engine at the top of the page and key in creeping or moving slides. I think you'll find some possible reasons for it also. Let us know what you come up with when you find out what exactly is causing the problem.

Check for Hyd leaks under the bed if that has the bed room slide.
