Mattress

Looking at replacing our mattress. Has anyone had any dealings with a online company called Lastingimpressionsfoam.com They have a great price on a RV King with free shipping. Any pros or cons

We're full-time and so a good nights sleep was important to us. We went with a regular mattress from a company we trusted. If a regular mattress won't fit in your rig then hopefully someone will come along who either knows that brand or has another option.

We got a 3-layer 8" queen memory foam from Costco.com on sale for $399 with free shipping.

http://www.costco.com/Sleep-Science-....11737636.html

I chose the 8" for weight saving considerations, as the only difference in construction between it and taller models was the thickness of the bottom layer of base foam. The two upper layers were exactly the same. The mattress was just right for me, but the wife said it was too firm for her, so we added a 3" gel-foam topper(there goes the weight savings!) Too soft for me, but as we all know, "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody gonna be happy!".

We also downsized from the optional factory king size to a queen so there would be more room between the closet and mattress, easier to make the bed and get into the closet, but the difference in width is very noticeable when sleeping with the wife and two cats.

On edit:
Oh yeah, I chose Costco simply because if we didn't like it, ...as in hated it, it is simple to return to a Costco Warehouse in its expanded state. Other places will have you ship it back to them, and it would cost more for shipping than the whole thing cost in the first place if you are unable to re-compress it (basically impossible) to a size that is not considered to be "oversize" by the parcel service that you use to ship.

I would not buy a mattress without trying it out. as for trying it out: Within 60 days of purchase. Just contact us for a return merchandise authorization RMA number before returning your item. If a return is made, there will be a 100% refund, minus any S&H charges$$$$$$
