3150RL tub shut-off valves

During one of my Wife's showers she accidentally dropped her wet washcloth on the hot water valve which pushed it down, increasing the hot water temperature immensely.
All of our other coaches had the shower faucet valves which "pull up" for on and "push down" for off?? (Not sure why this one is different)
Anyway, I found that if you simply switch the plastic valves (not the handles) they will turn on and off correctly ("pull up" for on, "push down" for off) This may alleviate a similar mishap for those of you who have had a similar experience?
(It will also prevent some ear pearsing screaming and a drastic change in your Wife's vocabulary?)
