Timbrens - for rear only or front too?

I've read past postings of our Timbren users, but was unclear if I should only install the rears or would need both? I don't think I need the fronts but want to make the right decision. Thanks all. D

Use a different brand, but mine are only on the rear.

We have Firestone air bags on the rear and are considering Timbrens or similar for the front. If you have driven the concrete sections of the WV Turnpike, you will understand why!

If you were to hang a snow plow on the front of the truck, it might be worth it, but I wouldn't bother if you are thinking it might help for towing because I doubt it would.

I installed them on the rear only. Agree with Tom S. the only use for the front seem to be for snow plowing.

I think the only thing that will help with that stretch of the WVA Turnpike is an airplane.

Now if you can just find an airplane with a 5th wheel hitch...

I know lots of Dodge owners have put them on the rear. I am hoping the beefed up 2013 doesn't need them.

I really didn't need them because of any towing issues. Any of the trucks will squat a little bit when putting the Monty on. My intent was to keep the headlights from raising and affecting other drivers. After installing them I was very impressed with their overall performance.

I put Timbrens on the rear only and I like the ride when pulling the 5ver. I thought it was good choice as I was riding the fence between Air Bags or the Timbren SES System
