I just don't get it!
Just heard on news, lowest price for barrel of oil since 2008....lowest U.S. consumption since and including 2006, yet we're paying on average $1.00 more a gallon since 2010!!! My college econ class sure never explained this!

Price of oil has dumped @ 10.00 per Bbl in the last few days following the stock market reflecting the fear caused by the near USA default,It is not over yet. It will take a few days for the drop in oil to hit the pumps.

Rich is right, it takes a few days before the cheaper oil gets to your local dealer. But then explain to me why is it that the day the price per barrel goes up the price goes up at the pump. Mrs. CountryGuy has the right answer.

Well which way will oil prices go now after US credit rating fell for the first time in History... We are back in Colorado and the price is $3.78.9. Happy Trails...
