cracked window!

I cracked the small window on the end of the dining room slide. I put some clear tape on it for now. I called a monty dealer he said they just put in a high grade plexi glass now, cost between $80.00 to $100.00, I'm wondering if anyone has done a DIY on this small window? Its the sliding one, not the fixed part. doesnt look that hard to take the glass out and have a piece of plexi or the tempered glass put in myself. Need some opinions, suggestions, thanks
Tom
