Shower valve 04/ 2980RL owners

OK I'm at a stand still where is the access pannel for the shower valve? I have the pocket door at the steps. and the 6 inch deep closet at the entry way stairs, there is no access pannel anywhere in the area to get to the shower valves and plumbing behind the pocket door and closet.
Anybody with the 2980RL able to shed some light on the topic for me.

Your 2980 is similar to our 2006 3075 and we have a plastic panel above the second shelf in the cabinet above the coat closet. The panel is about 12"x12". You could cut a access hole and cover it with a piece of paneling or painted plywood. Hope this helps, and good luck.

Good question. We don't have a clue and didn't even know we had a shower access panel. Sorry, as a 2004/2980 owner that we couldn't be of help.
