OUSIDE MULTI COLOR LEDs

I lost my lights in this trailer. Dave McNair loaned me one of his strings. We installed them today. I used the motion sensor light for power. So they work in both modes. After two months of looking I found them. 3/22/14

I busted the glass off one of the bulbs and soldered wire to the filament contacts.

Then just plugged it into the socket and mounted the box inside. Dave and I found the IR works through the lens.

Perfect John. Mine should be installed soon. A little more snow today to deal with. Thanks for the pictures and the IR info.

I am powering from my motion sendor socket.
I have the motion sensor porch light so they can be switched on all the time or over to the motion sensor control. What ever programming it is using when power is cut is the one that returns when power is restored.

EDIT - The lights are double sided tape to the wall of the RV just below the awning rail on the trailer.

John, I think Mike meant if they lights are connected to the awning all the time and if they stay there when the awning is retracted.
