Taking The Plunge
Greetings, we are about to trade the old reliable F-250 7.3 for a new King Ranch with the 6.7. I was wondering who in the MOC had the 7.3 and then went to the 6.7. I am asking how you compare the differences in towing power, mileage and overall satisfaction with your purchase.
Thanks

Awesome in towing, power and handling. You won't be disappointed. No problems with the 6.7 - I've had the 7.3, 6.0 and now the 6.7. Good luck!

I have had the 7.3, 6.0, 6,4, and now the 6.7 and can say you won't be disappointed. Actually there is no comparison between the 7.3 and the 6.7 package. Horsepower, torque, engine brake and the 6 speed tranny of the 6.7 are far superior to anything you had with the 7.3.

Had the 7.3 and the 6.0. Skipped the 6.4. Love our 6.7, best diesel I have owned yet.

I agonized over getting rid of my 99 F250 7.3 and buying a '12 F250 6.7. I swore for years that my '99 would be a pile of rust before I got rid of it. I now am certain that it's the best vehicle upgrade I have ever done! Dittos to everything Carl said about the 6.7! I especially like the Tow/Haul transmission feature and the power increase is like the difference between night and day.

Every body always says "This is all the power I will ever need" but when they get more power they like it. You can never have a canoe that is too lite or a truck that has too much power.

You're gonna be happier than a dead pig in the sunshine! I traded my 6.0 King Ranch on this 6.7 King Ranch and the best way to describe the new feeling is WOW!!!

I love my 6.7. I put 30k on my 2011 before I traded up to the Dually.
If you are lucky enough to score one of the rare Peterbilt Models like me..... Extra sweet!
