Longest Pull
On our 2012 western adventure, I experienced the longest uphill pull w/the new (2012) Ford. Roseburg, OR to Diamond Lake (near Crater Lake). 80 miles uphill w/no breaks/level outs. Up and up! Rose 4,700' and the truck temp gauge did go above normal, but kept going. A MH in front of me did pull off to cool down. Quite an experience.

You have to love that 6.7 and the new six speed transmission!

Sounds like another plus for the 6.7!

New 6.7L did awesome. Tranny did, too. Good fuel mileage most days, but that uphill pull sucked it down some?! Loved the tail winds towing on the way east.

Don't you just love it when you pick up a tailwind? It seems as though I am always headed the wrong direction

There is no such thing as a canoe that is too light or a truck with too much power.

Missed seeing you and Lynn at the Fall Rally. Sounded like you had a great trip.
We must have picked up a tail wind leaving Goshen for Erie. 13.2 MPG!!! Having flat land helped also.

Love the 6.7. I know what you mean. We are glad you and Lynn had a great time out West and are home safely.
