Trailer Saver Air ride.

For those who are thinking of going with a Trailer Saver Air TS 3 5th wheel hitch. And will be using the 2011 Chevy/GMC 3500HD's, I just had the TS installed yesterday and I used the 3" spacer and I have good clearance between the 5th wheel and the bedrails. I also recomend the Custom bedrails saves lots of time. The install took about a hour and forty five minutes. I will say the Chevy didn't squat that much even with 4,200 lbs of pin weight. If I can remember when we hook up Sunday to go to our National Rally I will measure the before and after when hooking... Will only use this set up one time the Hauler bed will be install in about three weeks... Then I will have no clearance issues at all..

We just installed the Trailer Saver BD3 in our 2011 2500 Silverado. We used standard bed rails and put about 50lbs of pressure in the airbags. We have plenty of clearance and hitched it is just about level. What a nice ride!

Wow...4,200 lbs of pin weight?
Just curious as to what trailer you have? Isn't that heavy even for a 1 ton?
