hot water heater whistle

Last week at the CG the electric hot water heater started to whistle! Does anyone else have this problem? We were hooked up to CG water. Any ideas how to stop this!!

Ours has been whistleing for over a year. I was told it is a bit of corrosion in one of the inlet or outlet connections. I could open it up and flush the system, but it probably wouldn't help.
The whicleint has not caused any problems and we have gotten used to it, but i recently drained, cleaned, and flushed the entire potable water system. This did not stop the whislte but did reduce it.
