"Clunking" noise

I have had my 2015 3160rl for a month. My present site is slightly sloped downhill on the door side. When we auto leveled the tires on door side came off ground so being new to this , we drove up on boards. Now I am hearing loud clunks from door side from underneath. Another Montana owner in CG said his does that and not to worry. It seems like it is getting worse. I checked with stick level inside unit and we seem to still be level.
Should I be concerned?

Read your auto level owner manual as it contains specific guidance/directions if you get a clunking noise. Ours also made noise. The manual gives you several products you can choose from. I added a quart of Forkoil per the instructions, and no clunking since.

This is a common problem and there are many previous discussions on it. Add the anti-stiction fluid as recommended (Lipsheet 0295) by Lippert. A quick Search uncovered these topics about the popping. There are more if you look.

Having wheels off the ground should not be a problem. We spent the winter of 2012 with the door side tires off the ground and we will be spending the fall and early winter this year with our street side wheels off the ground. No need for wood under the tires.

We had the clunking with ours, one of the early levelup rigs. Shortly after the Lipsheet was published, we were in Idaho, and I went to the local CAT dealer and purchased a couple quarts of the CAT fluid. One quart of the fluid did the trick. Haven't had a clunk from the system since, and it's been over two years since the fix.

thank you for the link to the auto level manual. we did not get a manual for the auto level system, we got a dvd that does not work. I went to Lippert and down loaded 0295 sheet and will get some fork oil.
also, thanks for the assurance that we won't need to drive up on wood planks. we always had to carry heavy wood for our old SOB.

Use the wood under the leveling pads...gives you more latitude when you run into really unlevel sites. John

MY DVD would not work on the Blu ray player, but I was able to view and print documents once I inserted it into my laptop.
