2016 3160RL legacy model with generator, MorRyde sliding basement tray and combo w/d which is added weight. Pulled with my 2015 GMC Denali 2500hd 6.6 Duramax no problem. I put airlift bags on it.

3160RL, no gen, less the legacy package. Pull with 2011 F250 Super Duty 6.7 diesel. No pulling problems. But I also recommend air bag suspension. What brand and package do you have installed?

I talked to a few repair shops today they told me that an airbag
kit would work great. Would that give me extra weight carrying
options?

No on extra weight just helps with sag and helps with a better ride.
Here's the website where I bought mine from.
