Micro wave

I need info on the install of the Panasonic Inverter Micro-Wave.
I have the Domteic stock type in my 2980 RL, will the panasonic require any modifications on the cabinet opening, I know the top and bottom is OK but the width is what I need to know.
Thanks.

TT2

Hi, TT2

I replaced the Apollo 1/2 time oven in the 3400 with a 1.2 cu ft Panasonic, and the height and width were almost the same (20 3/8 wide and 11 7/8 high). These are pretty much stock measurements of microwaves in the 1 cu ft range.

One problem was that the width was a little bit more when the door was open, but the plastic frame was wide enough that I could move the microwave over just enough that everything fit.

Mine didn't sit right on the floor of the cabinet, so there was a slight modification to make it fit the spacer (the foot pattern wasn't quite the same).

Minor problems, worthwhile change.
