TST repeater

We were having problems with the signals from the Monty on our TST system. Those of you who've seen our towing set up know we tow with a Dodge Maxie Cab and have a large dog carrier modified into a two story for our cats. Those who have seen our cats know that two of them are quite large. Anyway the cats and carrier were blocking the signal from time to time creating a distraction for me. I got the repeater, wired it up and hung it in the back window of the truck and on our trip back from Arizona didn't have a single miss on receiving the signals.

I put my repeater in the front battery compartment in the Monty. Mounted it as high and as far front as I could. I have good readings all the time.

I've got my repeater in the front closet area. I was told my tool box in bed of truck was the problem. The toolbox is below the bed of the truck.

Makes me wonder if my auxiliary fuel transfer tank will interfere with the signal. Guess I will find out if I can ever get the time and energy to do the tank install. Procrastination is becoming my middle name.
