More Montanas than any other model?
I have been on several different forums and I have come to the conclusion that I would be proud to be a "Montana owner". Every time I read about some sour grapes story on a Montana, I then come across a sob story from a Forest River owner, or a Carriage owner, or owner. On another forum (rv.net) I read a post... well I'll just copy it here~
"...while traveling back from Seattle to (Rolla) MO, my wife did a 2 day count of all rvs and makes from 1000 - 1200 ea day. She counted more 5vr's and the Montana topped the list traveling I-80 and next was Alpinlite." (Sept 13, 2005)
This was from a Sunnybrook owner. Everyone has problems... but Montana/Keystone has to be doing SOMETHING right!
"I'll take a 3400, please!"

And from what we saw at the Rally in Minden, the Montana Owners are the NICEST people.

Vicki, I just hope Steve was REALLY nice when he settled his bill.
I don't know... that New Mexico incident probably isn't that funny, though.

We however seldom see a Montana. This is blue collar country around here and the Montana would be high end. Our Local dealer is a Keystone dealer, Challenger is his high end Rv , also Couger and springdale, also Coachman. He carried Forset River Cardinal for awhile and could not sell them. I travel 4 counties on my bus route and have seen only 2 parked in driveways. When at the RCRV campvention this year we searched out Montana's among the 700 or so units there and only came across 14 or so including the 2955 we traveled with and Ronstan who was parked behind us. Based on what we see in our travels I would say that the Couger and the Springdale are the best selling Keystone products ..they are everywhere. We know Montana's are the # 1 keystone seller and on the tour we were told that 05 was one of their best years.. In fact when I tell folks we are buying a Montana most of them say..never heard of it???

We, on the other hand, see them constantly. On I-5 in CA you can see a dozen per day. We ran into one (not litterally) in Lone Pine and another on 395 today. Keystone is not lying about the Montana being the number 1 sell in the US. It is proven.
Happy trails.................
