Has anybody tried the Dish Network Tailgater? I think it sells for about $350.

just got the Tailgater and so far so good. Down side is it is limited to one receiver only so we only have Sat. on the living room TV. We do have HD and are very pleased with the unit.
Since it was only for the living room TV I installed another cable connection in the entertainment center slide out and go from the box to the TV w/ a HDMI cable. This way I am not disturbing any of the other TV hook ups.

I have the 722 Dual Tuner receiver, do you know if the Tailgater is compatable and would run both TV's?

Tailgater will only run one TV and only works with the VIP211K receiver per Dish Network. We are using it on the "pay as you go plan" they are offering for Rvers.

Our summer work camping gig has free cable so will turn off the Dish account and reactivate it next Fall when traveling again.

Just got a Winegard Carryout. Put the handle on...sat it in the backyard and in 5 minutes had all the HD channels on Dish Network that my regular house antenna picked up. Well worth the money.
