2011 3455sa - propane help

I have 2 30 lb tanks, one on each side of the unit. Are these tanks connected so that they use propane equally?

Also, I do not see any gauge to tell how full the tanks are, any suggestions?

Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis,
No they don't drain equally. They are connected by a change over valve. Once the first tank is empty, it will start to draw from the 2nd tank. If you leave both valves open and check frequently, you will not run out of propane. Once the tank empties, a red indicator shows on the valve so you can remove the empty tank and refill it.

Thanks for the reply. Wife and I just purchased this unit and needed some help on this. We owned a Class A before and the propane tank had a meter gauge.

Thanks,
Dennis
