Hands Free Bluetooth
For everyone that doesn't have a new shiny diesel truck with built in Bluetooth for hands free phone usage, what are you using?
I have found a few that clip on the visor which are rechargeable. They are anywhere from $44 to $75 and look promising. Suggestions?

That visor mounted Bluetooth device is what I used for quite a while, prior to the vehicles having builtin Bluetooth. I believe mine was a Motorola, but have no idea what is available now. At work, in California, The utility I worked for purchased the Bluetooth things that hang on your ear, about six months before the law took effect outlawing driving while using a cell phone, just so they were ahead of the game. The early ones were junk, but when the Jawbone devices came out, it was great, no background noise. Good luck.

I considered one of the Bluetooth ones that hang on your ear but I really don't care to have it on when out of the RV, just need it to use while driving.

I haven't tried it and probably won't because my truck has it but my Garmin GPS has bluetooth.

Now there is a thought David, I don't have my Rand RV GPS up north with me right now but I wonder if it has that feature? I will check online. Thanks.

After discovering my Rand RV GPS didn't have the Bluetooth Speakerphone option, followed chris199's advise and picked up a Motorola Sonic Rider visor mounted device. The thing paired immediately to our phones plus it has the advantage of monitoring two phones at once. Made a couple calls and it works really good for less than $40.00. Now I just have to find the best mounting place since I don't have a sun visor in the MH.
