New custom furniture for jackel1959...

Jack and David were looking for a table to use with there couch but they could not find one with the right stain to match their trailer. I volunteered to make the sofa table for them while we're were at the rally in Quartzsite. When Jack was touring the new models of Montana's that were brought out to the circle he found another table that would work better between their lazy boys so that one table turned into two. So here is the final product that came from their ideas... The bad part is they will have to wait till Jackson to see them in person.. I guess we will just have to use them till then...

Larry took me to his parents' house while we were in Quartzsite and showed me his Dad's shop. His Dad showed me many pieces of his work and is a very humble man. I kept telling him how talented he was, but he just wouldn't accept that compliment from me. OBTW.....he is very talented and a "MASTER CRAFTSMAN" in my humble opinion......I can see where Larry gets his talent from.

I can't wait to get these tables when we see Larry and Debbie in June. We have been looking for just the right pieces and these will fit the bill. And oh did I mention that Larry's Mom is an OTSTANDING baker too. I don't know if Larry got any of that because he hasn't baked for us yet

But seriously Larry, thank you again for doing this for us....we really appreciate it!

Jack & Dave

Jack you would be correct about Dad being a craftsman.. At 85 he still spends every spare minute he has in his shop and he has Mom out there doing his finish work and glueing. Of course this has to happen between batches of sugar cookies... Right now he is half way through glueing up 4 of his crazy table tops... I think he is getting excited to see us leaving for a while so he doesn't have to work on our rolling project called the Montana... As you can see by the photo below he had Mom out in the shop before going to dinner..

I was glad to help you and David out as I could see you really wanted to have a table for the couch.. Btw Mom finished the prototype couch table and has it installed in place...
