No more April/May travel in the plains for us.
Heading for the shelter here at El Reno West KOA west of OK city. I hate wall clouds. I spent enough time running away from these damn things in my youth. Not fun!

For whatever reason, the OK City / Norman, OK area has always been a tornado magnet in the spring. The I-35 corridor from Wichita up thru KC MO has always been a stormy weather magnet all year round.

Choosing weather windows across the middle of the country has been interesting this year. We watched the weekly patterns for three weeks straight before crossing fingers and going through. John

Made it to Joplin, Mo. will get to just south of St.Louis tomorrow then on to Lincoln,Ill. No more truck trouble so far but that doesn't mean anything. It is still history..
