Went to Home Depot and bought window tint film (privacy, but can see through), dropped interior shower trim and placed over clear film. Works great!

I cut a panel out of 1/2" styrofoam foil coated board a little smaller than the opening, glued 1/2" foam pipe insulation around the edge of the panel to fit snugly in the skylight. Easy to press in and take out. If it becomes loose later you can make another one or install an elastic cord system to hold it in. Works good day or night.
