Air Conditioner

I cant find my manual, and I don't remember what we were told about the Vent next to the intake. Are we suppose to keep it closed or open?

It is a quick cool feature. When it is closed the air will come out the ceiling vents. If you open it it will quick cool the livingroom area and the air will not come out the vents. If i have a lot of people in the trailer i close the bedroom door and open the vent. It helps keep it cooler while they are there. When all leave i close it and cool the rest of the trailer. Hope this helps.

Do you have 2 ACs?
We do. When we first set up in hot weather, I open the vent on the rear AC so most all that air goes to the living area. And I turn on the bedroom AC (non-ducted) so it cools the bedroom area. After the trailer is cooled down, if it is not too hot I close the vent and turn off the bedroom AC.

Both of ours are ducted so I leave them open during the day and a lot of air still comes out the vents. At night I turn the livingroom down and close it. That puts the air thru the vents and even the dump in the bedroom. That way Joyce doesn't have to hear the bedroom AC run and she sleeps better, but it's still cool in the bedroom..

Ditto what BB-TX does, really helps to cool the trailer down quick when you deal with the kind of heat we have here.
