battery tender
I pulled our battery and want to buy a tender to maintain the charge while we are gone for the winter. I don't know what kind to get and am open to suggestions. Thanks in advance.

With the battery out and no draw on it. Make sure it's fully charged and keep it warm and off a concrete floor it will be fine in the spring. Have done that for years with boat batteries. Also when we are gone for the winter I discounted the auto and other toys batteries, fine when we return 5 months later.

I have a Battery Tender Plus that I have used on 4 6volt golf cart batteries that I have left for several months hooked up to it and it kept the batteries fully charged.
I think I got it at Autozone. Joe

I have several of the battery tenders and have had for years they really work. I have saved a lot of money and time using them.

This is the model I have, love them. I cut the wires, instatalled good clamps and made the leads longer.
