Potable Water tank Overflow

I just picked up our new 305RL . During the walk through the service guy said the overflow was in the back corner on the drivers side...there is a blue hose hanging down here but it has a valve on it . I opened it and water started draining out even though nothing is hooked up and tank is only 1/3 full . Seems to me this is some kind of tank drain ? Where is the overflow ?

Thanks....

That is your fresh water tank drain. The overflow should be near the rear corner of the rig coming out of the lower edge of the wall.

My 2016 vent is on the drivers side rear about belt high. Has a round top and a square cut bottom about 2-1/2" tall and 3/8' thick.

Not trying to be cute, but the easy way to find it - fill the tank and it will start to run out of the overflow.

But as noted above, you will see it!

Vent for fresh water tank

About 1 or 2 feet from rear on street side about waist high. Black plastic inverted U shape which sticks out about 3/4". You can pop the cover off by pulling on the bottom edge and take the screen out to add water to your fresh tank with a funnel if no hose connection is available.
