What holds it up?

Those who have put reflective bubble wrap in the window to keep the sun out, how did you hold it up? We've tried velcro, but the heat melts it off.

I use the heavier foil type, stiff enough to slid behind the shade and stay in place. Works great to block out heat and sun light.

We cut ours to fit inside the window frame.

I used the heavy roll stuf to. I got it at Lowes. I made a 1/2 X 1 1/2 with a L cut out about a 1/2 inch deep out of wood then colored it to match my wood work and screwed it under the window.

I used white correplast from lowes to make a light block for our bedroom slide window, cut to fit in the frame. The look of the shiny flex foil from outside was too much like mobile home trailer for me...okay, wife said no way. John

If you cut it to the right size, it stays in place quite nicely. For the shower skylight and bath vent, my wife sewed some velcro strips on the stuff and that holds it well (the insulation weighs almost nothing.

Currently under the heat dome and paying for the electricity. Wife would rather have the money. Neighbors know we're hillbillies anyway

Once I put the cut pieces in place I pull the day/night shades down and they hold the panels in place.

We simply use the day/night shades to hold ours in place as well.
