Rio Grande Valley

We have spent the past 18 winters in Florida but this coming winter (2011) we're looking at maybe spending the winter in the Rio Grande Valley for a change. Do you guys know of any clean, reasonably priced ones that will accomadate our 3465 Monte? We would appr4eciate any info you could give us, I had rather get it from our forum than trying to sort it out of a bunch of advertisements. Thanks.

Detour over to South Padre Island: Isla Blanca State Park. You will love it.

You might take a look at the Rockport, TX area also. We have lots of winter Texans down here. You can get a nice lot here from $300-400 per month.

When we were there for 2 months in 2006 we stayed at Bentsen Palm Village RV Resort in Mission. We were one of 8 MOC couples in that park. It's a really excellent park. It was reasonable when we were there, price wise, but I have no idea the current pricing.

Fun N Sun (Encore Park) in San Benito... it has its problems but an open mind and a little tolerance of incompetent management with over competent workcampers doing the right thing will help u along...its right in the middle of everything and not overly busy..
