Your restaurant recommendations? - Hamburgers

Wherever we go, we ask locals to recommend their favorite local Hamburger restaurant. It dawned on us, why not ask

MOC'ers for their recommendations? We'll then, wherever we land, have a place to go look for recommendations.

Everyone please feel free to add new threads for other food types.

We'll start it off. Our favorite hamburger is at Annie's Place in Topeka, KS. Also try the "air fries" which are "fried" with hot air.

No oil. Annie's Place also is very good for other types of food, as well.

White Castle sliders, anywhere in SE Michigan. Get a bag of 'em and a roll of Rolaids and you're good to go!

We vote for In and Out also. You can ask for sautéed onions on them. We are not big eaters so some of those LARGE burgers are not for us. When we were in Montana, we drove through a drive in to get a burger for lunch, the clerk saw our CA (this was before we went to SD) license and said "Bet you wish this was an In and Out!"
Happy Trails..............

Here is a vote for the Shooting Star Saloon, Huntsville, UT (Just East of Ogden 20 miles or so) The burger can be double, a single, or with knockwurst, and that is the entire menu. What's really interesting is the stuffed St. Bernard on the wall. This is real Americana. John
