You made us smile too, and our daughter who was behind us in their sob.. They were so impressed with the Montana family flash and wave.
I thought you were up North near Leavenworth area.
We were just returning home to BC after a very nice trip.
We went to Soap Lake, WA - Coeur d'Alene, ID, Hungry Horse, MT - Pasco, WA - Portland, OR - Lincoln City, OR - Napavine, WA and back to Langley, BC.

Robbie,
Hope you stopped at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Excellant ice cream. If your in the area for a day or so a great beach is Cape Meres. South end is great beach combing. Oceanside has a neat walk thru tunnel on the north end. Lots of good stuff in the area.

Grampachet, You are my first flash/wave back and reply on MOC!!
We were in Northern Idaho about 10 days ago, but now spending time in Winchester Bay, crabbing!
Keep waving, flashing, smiling and posting!!
Bob,
We drove the entire coast from Astoria to Winchester Bay that day...about 230 real rough miles. The roughest part of the road was getting to Tillamook.....unfortunately, we didn't stop at the cheese factory, we were puttn' down da miles.....and trying to get the driving part done.
Thanks for pointing out the good spots! Hi to Jan.

Robbie, It was the first for us too. The kids had stopped at the cheese factory on the way down to camp with us so we did not stop there either. However we did stop at the air museum which we found very interesting. Well, let me add to that...DW stayed in the RV with the 2 year old and grampa took the others inside to enjoy.
Love your pictures.

Since we started doing this 4 or 5 years ago, we've had just one flashback confirmed to be a moc'er. There are very few of us but it's just enough to keep me flashing those lights.

I've yet to have a flasback. One of these days. Maybe on our way to Yellowstone next month. Robbie I thought full timers didn't have to hurry so they could stop and smell the roses. You missed some of the best part of the Oregon coast Good luck with the crabbing. I'm jealous.

I will be spend 3 days at Ft. Flagler in western wa. starting Monday. Stop by site #85 and I will buy you a cold one. I will be looking for elusive flashback while traveling. Sounds like the weather will be nice.

The best part of full timing is having the time to smell the roses, and the other part is knowing that those roses will be there another time when we return.
We feel very honored to have had a flashback, and like Steve, we'll just keep doing it, keep the notes on time, date, number of fingers on the wave, etc, and then post them. Maybe we'll have the opportunity to pay forward and make someone else a MOC Flashbacker.
Birdie, sorry we missed you, looking forward to seeing you at Q.
