Sturbridge area campground

Headed home to Maine. Spending tonight at Candy Hill in Winchester Va. Is there something around Sturbridge besides Yogi. Been there twice due to nothing else open in cold weather and agree it's a dump. Need to know asap. Will check thread while on road tomorrow. 3400 and 3500 running together. Thanks Dan

There is an Outdoor's World (Thousand Trails) in Sturbridge.

There is Highview Campground Park in West Brookfield, about 12 miles from Sturbridge. (17 miles by Podunk Pike - MA-49, It may not be the direct route but could be faster.) Highview has 85 full hook-up sites, but only has 30Amp.

There is Lake Dean Campground in Okham, MA, about 20 miles N of Sturbridge.

20 miles in Mass., is 40 minutes of driving. It's all country roads, mostly. The main roads to get there are all mostly in good condition.

And, as indicated, Wells State Park.

That's all I can remember about the area.

this is 3-1/2 miles from sturbridge rt 20e on left I see it all the time driveing by I'd stay there overnite. safe area, sturbridge village 2 miles up road.seems to do alot of business.
