John: I upgraded to 265's and went to the dealer to get the computer reprogrammed and was informed that it can't be reprogrammed on the newer trucks. It makes a diff. of 2-3 miles per hr. on my truck with the bigger tires.

I use the LTX M/S and love them. I have pulled in the snow and deep mud and they hold pretty well. They don't get the chop on the front like you see on a lot of tires. I run the 265/75/16E. They are very quiet and smooth. I also like BF Goodrich A/T but they don't come in E rated yet in my size.

Thanks everyone for responding to my inquiries about tire replacement choices. I think I have a better idea of what I will replace with. Now, I will shop for price..Looks like the Michelin LTX M/S is my choice... thanks for all your help... Dennis

I notice that you are in Surrey, BC. Unless you go up into the mountains, you probably don't get much snow. You can get the LTX that is not M/S rated. I think they call it LTX A/S It is supposed to be better for highway travel, quieter, better traction on smooth surfaces etc. Check the Michelin web site for details, if that kind of tire might be of interest.
