Carpet removal?

Our 2015 3402RL has full carpet in the living room area. We'd like to remove the carpet from the main floor, leaving the carpet on the slides. The 2016 model is linoleum all the way through except on the slides - this is what we want. Before attempting to remove the carpet does anyone know if is there linoleum under that carpet?

Chances are very very high that it is there. Should be able to peek under carpet if there is a floor vent in the living room. John

Thank you John. Yes there is a floor vent so I'll try to take a peek.

Don't know about your model, but when we took our carpet up the linoleum was under part of the carpet but not under all of it.

Even if there is vinyl flooring under the carpet won't there be staple holes in it from the carpet installation. I have read other posts on other forums about their being so many staples to remove when pulling carpet up.

I didn't even think of staple holes! Thanks for that. I'm thinking we should just leave the carpet be. Thank you everyone
