Ah yes..reminds me of many places in Western PA..but..how is the drainage, how do you get up there in the winter time, is it a mud hole in the spring, can i get the 3400 up there, is there water, gas, electric, cable. reminds me of the road up to our hunting Camp in Pa..had none of those things and did not miss them..Would now tho...

Having lived on dirt roads during my early years this was great and so true. Going though my Mother's things we found her diary - 1936 (rural southeastern Kansas) when she and my Daddy were dating. Everytime it rained, the roads were to bad to travel and she didn't get to see him. Thanks, Kathi.

This would almost be funny - but we live at the end of a bumpy dirt road!

Progress is catching up, however, and our almost country life is going to change with paved street, street lights, and yet more houses. For the past 26+ years we rarely locked our doors. I guess we should be happy it lasted that long.
