Grey tank seepage
We have a 2004 Montana 5th wheel with an artic package. There is a grey tank leak coming through the drain line where you empty the tank. How do I get access to the leak and what will fix the leak? Could it be a seal or does a part need to be replaced?

Most likely the drain valve has failed (bad seal, gunk in the seal, etc.), You will have to drop the coroplast (or make a window in it for access) to get to it. Get a Valtera replacement valve and you will be fine.

First - Welcome to the forum!
Also recommend you use a twist on Valtera valve where you connect your hose. They are great to prevent a mess when you have leaking black or grey tank valves. If your leak is very minor you may be able to defer changing the valve at the tank for a little while.

Thank you
Thank you, that makes since. We bought it used. There was a lot of grease buildup in it. I will give that a try.

We found the problem. We found that the galley tank pull handle was hidden. We found a chart on line of the tanks and pipes under the Montana 5th wheel. That led us to the hidden handle. The handle was separated, not operating the valve. The galley was full and had lots of sediment in it. Fixed the valve, cleaned out the tank. Got it working with out having to buy any parts. YES!!! Now we are happy campers. Thank you all for your in put. Love that we have this forum to get answers and encouragement and ideas.
