12th Annual Quartzsite Circling of the Montana's
Schedule of Activities - 2017

Tuesday - Jan 17th


Arrival of our MOC Family to the gathering site on Plomosa Road (look for sign on road posted at mile marker 2.8).


4:00 PM - Wagon Master Announcements (Welcome and Rules) meeting at campfire circle. Please try to arrive at least by 3:00 so check-in and parking will not dust down the food. Attendance by all is strongly advised. If you plan on participating in the Hors D'oeuvres, everyone needs to contribute.

4:30 PM - Meet and Greet/Happy Hour/Hors D'oeuvres

Wednesday - Jan 18th

9:00 AM - Paul Unmack with ARPrv will give a seminar on an addition we can add to our propane-operated refrigerators that makes them safer.

11:00 AM - Shade repair class by Dave McNair

1:00 - 3:00 - The Escapee Boomers Group has a Happy Hour somewhere very near us (NE?). Bring a lawn chair and snack if participating.

4:30 PM - Happy Hour/Hors D'oeuvres

Thursday - Jan 19th

10:00 AM - Noon - Mac the Fire Guy class & Demo. This is a must see for those that have not participated and even for those that have.

11:00 PM - Craft class by Kristi Silver

Friday - Jan 20th


3:00 PM - Potluck Dinner - Moved to Sunday at 3:30 PM

Desert Bar - 9:00 AM - Line up and leave at 9:00 AM Sharp!


Jan. 21 - 29th - Quartzsite RV Show and Flea Market in Quartzsite 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. daily

4:30 p.m - Happy Hour/Hors D'oeuvres - And Mark Silver with CH751 will join us with information about replacement barrel locks used in our storage compartments, step supports, and new product. Also, raffle goodies.

Leisure day - enjoy Quartzsite and surrounding area.

Tuesday - Jan 24th

Last "Official" day of the 2015 Quartzsite Rally

10:00 AM - Tips on traveling the Alaska Highway - Matthews RV

11:00 AM - Kristie's Craft Class

11:30 AM - Daryl Lawrence will talk about Progressive and TireTracker products.


3:00 PM SHARP! - Potluck Dinner - This is our big get-together with a lot of heavy eaters, so please adjust your dishes accordingly.


4:30 PM - Happy Hour

Day of departure and time to say goodbye to all of our MOC Family

FYI on the Desert Bar I was there last Sunday and the 5 mile dirt road is in terrible shape. If you go plan on driving very slow. Lots of exposed rock and ruts from rain run off. You can make as lots of cars did just slow going. Once there it is great well worth the bouncing drive.
