Dometic AC heating element

Anyone use the heating element? We had a few cool nights in South TX last winter and thought it might be nice to take the chill out of the air on the cool mornings.

We have it on our units and it works nice. It does not seem like a lot of hot air is coming out because of the large air flow. But it works.

I installed one in our Travel trailer, with the velocity of air coming from the unit, it seemed too cool, I would not do it again. Small heater placed where it is needed is the best way to go....(For us)

We have the heat strap on the bedroom A/C. We were kind of leary of getting it, but now the wife wouldn't be without it. It is great in the morning and after a shower, we enjoy it very much.
