i have a 3/4 ton dodge 05 and ive been a truck driver for more than fourty years and ive always run chevron delo 40. ive got four million miles under my belt with out an engine problem. so i hope this help your decision.

Thanks for the pro opinion. How often did you change the Delo? Can you run straight 40 weight in the winter?

Oil would be too thick in the winter time. In cold weather, the viscosity of 40W oil is like molasses. That's the purpose of the oil with varying viscosity (15W-40).
