Another way to make DW unhappy

After spending a week at our daughters over Christmas we headed to a campground on New Years eve. Ahh, full hook-ups. Had 30 amp power and I was styling. All connections hooked up and sat dish was dialed in, even turned on the elec. for the water heater. The next morning DW says I'm going to take a shower can I leave the water running?
Over my second cup of coffee I said sure, we have city water and sewer so go for it.At our stick house I haul our water so we understand water management, buy sometimes it's nice to indulge.
I remembered articles I had read about using elec and propane at the same time for quicker recovery so I turned on the propane switch.
A few minutes later DW is speaking rather loudly< I have my hair all lathered up and have NO hot water and she didn't sound too happy about it. I'm sitting there scratching my head and thinking whats wrong now and THEN it hits me. we don't have a 40 gallon water tank in the FW.
I immediatley went outside and tried to look busy.

Some people live and learn-------I just live.

When my DW states she is going to wash her hair I immediately go into "Red Alert" I turn on the electric water heater AND the propane water heater. If it would work I would hold a Bic lighter under the heater.
Ya Gotta Keep'Um Happy. Live by that motto and life is a little easier.

It's amazing how many ways we can get ourselves into trouble. I'm always finding new ones.

I just tell mine, "Get a hair cut! You won't need so much water!"

Yeah! right!
