Williams, Arizona

Plan on heading to Williams, Arizona next week to see the Grand Canyon -- any suggestions as to where to stay would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Les & Julie

We liked the KOA, it was nothing fancy, but OK. It is on the road to the Canyon.
There are two, the one closest to the Canyon is where we stayed.

Les and Julie: We stayed at Grand Canyon RV park in Williams. Wouldn't recommend it if it is wet or snowy. Red mud up to the top of your shoes. Dogs were a mess.
Have you checked out the park inside the grounds of the Grand Canyon?

We stayed at the KOA off the 40 just a mile from Williams. Really nice park, a bit expensive but free WiFi that worked. We were there a couple of weeks last summer during the rainy season and they did a great job of keeping the mud down. You may run into snow at the Canyon this time of year. We also enjoyed the town of Williams plus we were close enough to some of the other things to see in Northern AZ. We took a lot of day trips. Enjoy the area, it is awesome.
Happy trails......................
