Stairs Replaced

Our stairs on our 2955 keep getting bent. The dealers service guy came and picked up the 5th when the front jacks quit and didn't pull it out of the yard the way he was told so they replaced them. Then the we where in Denny's in Ferndale, Wa. there was a big dip in there lot and they dragged again and bent again. I just changed out the steps with a two step set and will be using a 8" portable step to make up the difference. These steps are 1 1/2" narrower than the original steps so I made 2 3/4" spacers to mount them.

Good job. May I ask what the first replacment steps were, and the call?
I am guessing $190.00 for the steps and $100 for the labor.

I don't know butt I will try to find out. The RV dealer paid for everything so I didn't get a bill but the stairs here would be a bit more. This there website if this helps.

Jim I called our dealer and he said that the stairs are made by Lippert and the part # 126660. If you phone them they will tell you the measurement.

Don, I appreciate it, but I am a RV Parts dealer now, and I buy at the same price, or close, as your dealer does.
I bought my new steps and installed them in around an hour.
I am glad you got them free.
