Oregon to Cal

We are presently at Diamond Lake RV Park near Crater Lake Or, Leaving Thurs for Medford Oaks RV Park in Eagle point, there for a week then to Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort on 9-20 to 9-27, then on to Sacramento River RV Park in Redding for a week. Then on 10-3 we head to Travis AFB Fam Camp for a month. If you are around any of these please look us up.

If you haven't done the north coast of California then I'd recommend you visit there. At Grants Pass take hwy. 199 over to Crescent City and start working your way south. Some of the most magnificent Redwoods in the world are located just south of the Eureka area. Visit our PictureTrail site and take a look at the album with the Redwoods.

There are lots of RV parks and CGs in the area and this time of year should not be too crowded.

Then just work your way south on 101 and go over to Travis.

Or you can cross over on 299 out of Redding. Lots of up and down and twist and turns but it is a nice road. Very scenic drive.

pparamore, We are going to be going just the oposite. We leave Midpines,CA Oct 1 or 2nd and are heading to Seattle then going east. First stop will be in Stockton to see Carolyn's son and family then up to Redding and on through Oregon and Washington. When we leave Seattle we are heading East to PA. This will officially start our full timing, even though we have been living in the Montana for awhile now.

Sorry we are just passing on the highway, might cross paths in the future. Have a safe and fun trip.

Well, how soon plans change. It seems the weather from Medford to Sacramento is still too hot for us. We will spend a week at Medford Oaks, getting RV service in Grants Pass, then on to Crescent City CA for a week, then on to Clear Lake CA, Edgewater Resort and RV Park for a week, then on to Travis AFB for a month, then on to San Diego, with a overnighter somewhere in between, until first week in Dec, then on to Phoenix and Arizona for the winter. Of course, this is subject to change also. If any of you will be in any of these places, please feel free to stop by.

Looks like you will be just in front of us. We just settled into the Mill at Coos Bay for a week.

From there we'll be moving on to Brookings for a week. Then down to Fortuna.

Enjoy the California North Coast..... it is awesome. Glad I could "ruin" your plans.
