Parker, Arizona

GREAT area.
We are at the county campground for two days, right on the Colorado River. The surrounding area is breath taking. We took pictures of some wild Burros, saw a Coyote, and won $1,400 on the Indian Casino here, all in all a pretty good trip!
We had a $4.00 cheese Burgler plate with fries at a floating bar on the Colorado River today, had boats pulling up and people water skiing by, it was 80 degrees, and wonderful views wherever we went.
I bicycle around the campground, which is huge, about a 3 mile round trip, many people camping with solar cells and generators, tent camping and everything in between.
Tomorrow, we go to Lake Havasu City for our reserved space there for a month and a half.
Hope to see some of you all there.
Ozz and Sue.

Sue and Jim, glad you folks are having a great time. Sounds like a great place. Hope the wind didn't slow you down on your way to Parker. Wind finally stopped blowing yesterday morning. We were keeping our fingers crossed that the dust storms didn't get you. Enjoy Havasu and try not to donate too much of that hard won cash to the folks in Laughlin.

Ozz you should consider coming down to Quartzsite while the gang of MOC'ers are there.

Ozz and Sue, we stayed there a few years ago and loved it. We put our Port-A-Bote in the river and tooled up and down. We at burgers at the floating bar, too, but Bob says you are too late for the wet t-shirt contest!! Ha. Glad you are having a good time.

What is that campground called. We will be there in about a month. Is it close to Emerald Canyon Golf Course?

It was the La Paz County campground, there are so many around there, this one has a county Golf Course and driving range across the road.
Wet T-shirt contest??? Oh man, just my luck!
I have found if you keep buying shots, it can generate a new one- and an occasional bar fight..............
Thanks, Ozz

The wind was crazy, but we just pushed on. There were a few dust storms, not too bad.
Saw many people setting up in Quartsite, might be a little too busy for the ole Ozzman, not a big fan of thousands of people in one area like that.
I wanted to thank you two super people, for the kindness you showed Sue and I at Baudry.
For you members here, Bob came over to our rig when there was a windstorm and saved our awning by rolling it up, we left it down while Sue and I were over at Hooters over-tipping the girls, and watching the K.C. chiefs barely beat the Raiders.
Bob and Barb, thank you also, for the two boxes of Schwan's sausages you would not accept payment on. We have been on a sausage bender, I heat them up on the grill with our eggs and pancakes, all the passer bys hint for samples!
Great people like you two are why traveling is so wonderful.
Take care, and you have our prayers for your parents there in Tucson.
Jim and Sue.
