Cingular or Verizon service solved
I started the thread on Cingular or Verizon. I have since renewed with Verizon so I will not be able to post any gain or loss. Thanks all for inputs.

Illapah, I don't think you will be disappointed with your choice. We have had Verizon for our cell service as well as our Air Card and have had very little difficulty getting connections.

illapah, Without posting we'll have to speculate on all those unused minutes not going into the rollover bucket

Good luck. Verizon is a good choice. We have had Cingular for years and have yet to have anyone with Verizon have a signal when we don't but we have had signals when they don't. So we'll stay with Cingular. But your situation, Verizon might be better. We're all over the country so coverage all over is a high priority for us.
By the way, had the chance to speak with a Cingular employee in a social setting the other day and she told me our cheapo Nokia is about the best at picking up good signals and the Motorola flip phone is the worst. I'm not looking to start any fights here but wanted to point out that sometimes/often the ability to pick up a signal includes how well the phone does, not just where the towers are.
