Montana 3750fl water heater issue

New LP only water heater installed 2 years ago..
will not ignite and run

Be sure you have good gas flow, check how your range is operating. You could have a blockage in the gas tube going to the burner. Insects like propane and can and do nest there. If your heater has a pilot make sure it's on and if it is then the flame sensor may be mispositioned to tell the flame is actually there. Just some thoughts, it gets more complicated if those aren't the issue.

I would check the simple stuff first. Could be a spider web blocking the gas flow. Spiders love the smell of propane. I’m told bay leaves in the water heater compartment can keep them away. (Obviously away from the flame) Verify your regulator is working properly and you’re not having any other problems with the oven, heater or an outdoor grill . Sometimes you can get an airlock in the line .
