Spring 2019 Trip

We are in the early planning stages for a trip in Spring 2019 to visit family/friends. Looking for recommendations for RV Parks (Full Hook Up/41ft 5th Wheel) for the following locations: Grand Canyon, Durango, CO, Salt Lake City, UT. Thanks in advance for your insight.

At the Grand canyon stay at the park. They have a campground with full hookups and you can take a shuttle right from the campground. It's called trailer village.

The Durango KOA is good and Riverside RV Park in Bayfield (20 Mi E of Durango) is a great park, too.

North side Salt Lake - Golden Spike RV or Century and south side Lakeside RV in Provo. Provo is probably the nicest but the others were fine too.
Durango, we like Durango Riverside RV - it is RIGHT on the river with a deck looking straight down at it. Have fun.

We stayed at the Durango KOA in 2014 and found it to be a great place. While you are in Durango, take the steam train to Silverton. It is a memorable experience!

Mountain Valley RV Resort in Heber Valley, UT is one of the best RV parks we have stayed at. It is 20 minutes from Salt Lake City, and Park City which are both must see places. The Hiking and driving views are fantastic. We stayed there a week last summer before heading south to the five National Parks. Sites are large pull-thrus and there are two pools with one adults only section of the park.

In SLC area, both Springfield/Provo and SLC KOA's are larger than most KOA's and nice enough. Daughter attends Neumont College in SLC and we stayed at both during her move out.

What cheezy1 said. Great park and if you do it in June there is a Montana rally there.
