A used 3400rl
Looking at a 2009 3400rl for about $30,000. It was used about 5 times when new and has been sitting ever since. Would you buy it? Thanks for the input.

If the owner is interested in selling it, they should be willing to let a dealership go through it and give you a fair impartial evaluation of the coach. It would probably cost you $100 or so for the shop to do it, but that might be the best $100 peace of mind or $100 advice to run you will ever spend. Just a thought.

The shop can also go over the hubs, brakes and suspension. Good luck.

As stated above check it out, seems high to me, but I haven't check pricing. But yes, I would buy it. I think I would buy insurance on it, since you don't know the history on it.

Someone on this site is selling a 2008 for $34,900 OBO, so $30k for a 2009 sounds like a good deal. I have a 2009, and love it. Good luck.

Agree a complete competent inspection is appropriate. Sitting for long periods of time is not necessarily a good thing (example: tires? winterized?).

I don't see how you can tell whether or not the price is good compared to another rig. The price can vary many thousands of dollars depending on options and extras. The 09 for $44.5k might be loaded with all the options and the 09 for $30k might have only the standard equipment. Need to check them out.
